Shehila “Shy” Romero is a driven leader originally from Colorado, shaped by her multicultural upbringing and inspired by her mother’s journey from Costa Rica. A graduate and salutatorian, she went on to study forensic psychology at the University of Colorado Boulder before pivoting into a career path aligned with her passion for growth, leadership, and opportunity.
Shy launched her professional journey in Colorado, expanded her success into Maine, and now continues her upward trajectory in Washington. Her commitment to creating generational opportunity is the foundation of her work. She is dedicated not only to building a strong future for her family but also to empowering others who are striving for more in their own lives and careers.
Married in 2024, Shy is excited to continue building her family and her legacy. Her mission is clear: to forge pathways for those ready to grow and to lead with integrity, ambition, and purpose.

I used to teach skateboarding for a 501c3 nonprofit known as Alchemy Skateboarding. I led youth programs for 2nd to 12th grade youth in schools, also with court involved youth as well as adults who sought lessons at the nonprofit’s indoor skatepark.
